My mom sat with me under the tree … at the old picnic table we all used to eat at …
our "dining room" table for mom and dad and 7 kids!
Oh the stories!
Sandhill cranes flew over, headed north.

"Spring Break 3"
7:30 a.m.
The kids are home from school this week on their spring break.
Spring seemed to break from the sky, too,
which helped me title the painting!

March 13

"Foggy Bottom Sunrise"
Fog … When sun peeked, the fog engulfed me!
30 seconds later, the sun was gone for the day.

"Spring Breaking"
Last year on the farm.

March 16

8:00
Farm's last days.

March 18

Cows have moved from troughs to other pasture leaving behind
a "herd" (sizes are the same due to perspective) proportion.
Where the trough is clean no work gets done but much increase
comes by the strength of the ox (Prov 14?).

March 19

"Drizzly Fog"
6:45 a.m.
Storms coming

March 20

"On Tornado Watch"
First rain of spring happened in the night.
The "cold" front passes.
Cows laying down after a night of standing in the lightning and tornado watches.

March 21

A cold front is coming.
Samuel got up early so I couldn't "finish".

March 23

"Cool Light"

March 24

March 25

"Late Bloomers"
7:30 - 8:00 a.m.
Heavy sky. Heavy green.
Pecan trees are holding out.
